EMC Artists, Ltd., formed in 2007, is an Artist Management firm overseeing the management and touring activities of instrumental soloists.  The company, begun as a collaboration between Mr. Andrew Sords and Ms. Elissa Courtright, provides quality classical music performances and musical education worldwide.

Ms. Courtright collaborated with The Cleveland Orchestra for several years, gaining insight into the organizational side of Orchestral Management.  With this knowledge, Ms. Courtright  is an invaluable liaison between artist and venue.  Ms. Courtright's education in both music and communications allows her to act on the behalf of the artists' musical integrity as well as the best interests of the venue.

Mr. Sords, 23 year old violinist, is already a veteran of the concert stage.  He is the winner of the 2005 National Shirley Valentin Violin Award, the 2004 and 2005 National Federation of Music Clubs Competition, the Fortnightly Music Club of Cleveland and the Festival de la Orquestra Sinfonica de las Americas Competition of the Casals Festival among others.  In 2008, Sords received international exposure as the top Google Classical News story as well as topping the Top-40 Charts in Classical News.  Sords has recently toured with the Brahms, Beethoven, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky concerti to critical acclaim, and has quickly emerged as one of the foremost violin soloists of his generation.

The company continues growth in established and new areas of the performing arts.
